Solidscape 3-D™ Production Systems
Solidscape® 3D printers are primarily used to produce “like-wax” casting patterns for lost-wax casting/investment casting applications. The patterns produced using industry standard CAD (.STL) files, normally fit within a 6 inch (15.24 cm) cube and are extremely high resolution with vibrant details and outstanding surface finish. Solidscape 3D printers hold a commanding market share in jewelry design and manufacturing and are making impressive inroads into the laboratory segment of the open-systems digital dentistry marketplace.

Solidscape’s T612® Benchtop provides the largest build envelope of Solidscape's product line, a 12 inch (30.48cm) long surface with a 6 inch (15.24cm) width and depth. This makes it ideal for applications requiring high precision patterns for lost wax casting longer than 6 inches. The T612 Benchtop is used in applications for the production of aerospace, medical/orthopedic, automotive, electronic, parts and components for recreational products and toys.
Benefits and Features
- Solidscape®, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of high-precision 3D modeling rapid prototyping systems worldwide. This technology advances the state-of-the-art for computer-controlled fabrication of solid models. The R66, T612 Benchtop and T76 3D Printing Systems are true office peripherals—residing on your benchtop or desktop surface and requiring no facility modifications.
- Solidscape systems are marketed worldwide and designed for numerous manufacturing applications including jewelry, dental, jet engine turbine blades, medical instruments and prosthetics, consumer goods, automotive parts, electronics and many other high-precision products.
- Delivers unmatched precision, with the flexibility to produce tooling-grade patterns and highly accurate models.
- Stands side-by-side with your CADdesign software in a normal office environ- ment and works with standard CAD files. Operates with a standard PC running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, XP Professional or ME.
- Uses a non-toxic thermoplastic build material - featuring excellent casting qualities (fast melt out, no ash or residue, negligible thermal expansion); highly suitable for mold-making and works with a variety of mold-making processes.
- Eliminates many of the pre- and post- build steps required by other systems (automatically generates any necessary support for model cavities or overhangs, uses unique, easy-to-dissolve wax support — no scaffolding means no corrective sanding or filling!).
- Supports unattended operation for "over night and over the weekend" builds and features built-in performance checks, automatic re-starting from point of interruption, easy-to-adjust build and support parameters.
- Costs less to own and operate than other rapid prototyping systems in its class.
- Unattended operation (72 hours) / Network ready
- Small Footprint: 28.0 inches (71.12 cm) width x 19.5 inches (49.53 cm) depth x 19.5 inches (49.53 cm) height
- Maximum build envelope: 12 x 6 x 6 inches (30.48 x 15.24 x 15.24 cm)
Model Comparison Multiple Resolutions, Ultra High Resolution, Two Material System (Resin/Resin), Larger Build Envelope than T76 and R66
