CadBlu was created to provide partial and complete solutions in the area of Computer Aided Design (CAD), Scanning Technologies, additive and subtractive processes (RP & CAM) of model generation from digital data, and software and materials to allow turnkey solutions. CadBlu integrates equipment, including 3D scanners, 3D printers, milling systems, engraving systems and other hardware - with purpose-driven software, supplies and service to provide integrated, application specific solutions.

We develop our solutions through partnerships with technology manufacturer's and various software developers as well as our own in-house research and development staff. Our solutions range from a complete turnkey solution to partial solutions whereby our clients can join the digital age with minimal investment. We have full in-house service bureau facilities to support our client base with rapid models, casting patterns and prototypes.

Jewelry designs can be output on 3D printers (Solidscape printer output demonstrated above), or machined with our benchtop mills. All 3D printers that CadBlu offers from leading manufacturers including 3D Systems and Solidscape produce models, as well as casting patterns for jewelry and other applications. Jewelry patterns can be mass produced in a few hours, producing identical copies of one or more geometries in a single part build. This is a platform of bracelets produced in our SLA Viper system in our 3D Factory Service Bureau division.

After the model design is finalized, a final wax pattern is typically output, then mounted to a casting tree for investment casting. Learn more about Casting of jewelry or other small parts

The resulting casting is processed like any ordinary casting. Parts are cut off the tree, polished,  stones mounted and the jewelry completed.

Rapid Manufacturing - is the direct production of final parts or molds directly from one of our manufacturing systems, or use of a part from the system in a casting or molding process to produce a cast part, or molded part. Indoor and Signs
